Redline Raceway in the hills just outside of Ballart will present the penultimate round, round eleven of the 2018-2019 Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series this Saturday night with all the top eighteen drivers in the Series entered plus many more. This round of the Series will be a big night for Corey McCullagh, Charles Hunter and Bobby Daly who are the top three in the Series and separted by only two hundred and eleven points in the standings.
Each round of the Series this season has had a different winner so could we see another driver add their name to winners list this weekend. The likes of Bobby Daly who has been so close to a feature win or Grant Stansfield, Brett Milburn and Nick Lacey who have all won Eureka Series A Mains in the past or maybe Jordyn Charge or Brayden Parr can add theirs names to the winners list, what about Terry Rankin can he go one place better that last weekend’s round at Avalon Raceway and take the win or can Corey McCullagh or Charles Hunter take another Eureka Garages & Sheds A Main win?
Once agin two local Ballarat drivers Sam Wren and Rod Matthews are in the field, while Rod only has been doing a limited racing season Redline Raceway is normally a good hunting ground for him and a top ten result would satisfy Rod. Now on the other hand Sam Wren is looking for a strong night, Sam is sitting in seventh place in the Eureka Series points and has a real chance of moving up a few places to challenge Terry Rankin and Brenten Farrer for fourth place heading into the final round next week.
The Solomon brothers Paul and Chris haven’t had the best of results recently due to a few mechanical issue but if the boys get on top them and with the experince they have at this veneue they are sure to be right in the mix.
Warnambool driver Peter Doukas is fast but bad luck at Hamilton and the recent round at Avalon have hampered his true ability behind the wheel. Peter is more than capable of taking the win this weekend, one to watch.
Add a few more of the regular drivers the likes of Andrew Hughes and Dennis Jones who make the trip from the Morwell aera for each round plus Winchelseas Ryan Davis who is alway exciting to watch, these drivers should be right amongst the action on the night.
Lady racers Kristy Ellis and Carly Walsh put in great drives at the recent round ten of the Eureka Series, Kristy won a heat race by a big magine over some tough competitors. Carly Walsh was also in good form only to miss out on making the A Main by one spot. Both Carly and Kristy will be in action again this weekend in the penutimate round of ther 2018-2019 Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series.
